Cuff

Cast on 36(42,48, 54) stitches, if using double point needles divide evenly among them

If using magic loop method then place a marker at the end of row to mark it..

Knit 1 round

Purl 2 rounds

Knit 4 rounds

Purl 1 round

Knit 2 rounds

Purl 1 round

Knit 4 rounds

Purl round

Knit 2 rounds

Purl round

Knit 15 rounds (more or less depending on how long you want the cuff)

Thumb Gusset

Round 1: Knit to 1 stitch from end.  Place stitch marker, M1, K1, M1

Round 2 & 3, Knit

Round 4 Knit to marker, slip marker, M1, Knit to next marker, M1.

*Repeat rounds 2 – 4 three (four, five) more times.  11(13, 15) stitches between markers.

When you have reached this number of stitches Knit the next round until you reach the first marker.  Set those 11(13, 15) stitches aside. M1, knit rest of round.  36(42,48, 54) stitches.

Knit 8 rounds

Purl 1 round

Knit 2 rounds

Purl 1 round

Knit 4 rounds

Purl round

Bind off

Thumb

Place 11(13, 15) held stitches onto needles.  Pick up 3 stitches in the gap where the thumb joins the hand.  14(16,18) stitches.

Knit 3 rounds

Purl 1 round

Knit 2 rounds

Purl 1 round

Bind off.
